| The narrative and symbolic aspects of images are the focus of my work. Using drawn, painted or photographic images, along with layers of encaustic medium, I create visual statements with both personal and public meanings. My work deals with the interaction of the natural and human realms, both sacred and profane, and the often hidden, and evocative forms of flora and fauna. | N. Gordon-Taylor is an artist who works in oils, acrylics, water colors, graphite pencils, colored pencils, cray pas, and pastels. Her current series entitled, "Self Portrait Minus Self," explores the darker depths of her unconscious as it manifests in her awareness of random aesthetic arrangements. | William C. Maxwell is an artist, curator, and Professor of Art at The College of New Rochelle.
